We will be holding our annual Career Fair on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 9:00 until 12:00, and we would like to invite you to participate. Our goal is to introduce our students to as many professional fields as possible at this event. We feel that this will give them an invaluable foresight into their own futures. Currently we have 602 students enrolled at Head Magnet. Typically presenters bring along visuals (charts, boards, demonstrations, etc.) relative to their business or profession, and perhaps something the students can take home with them such as pencils, stickers, key chains, etc. Students will visit with each of the exhibitors and learn about their professions. Tables will be provided, but you should bring any other items you may need. It would be a pleasure to have you participate. If you are able to participate, please call us at 329-8160, ext. 142 (Owens) or ext. 241 (Hill). We look forward to hearing from you!

She teaches 8th grade math (Algebra IA) and Algebra I Honors for high school credit. She is also the volleyball coach here at HMMS.
Top Tiger Teacher Q3-Mrs.Baltuth Once every nine weeks, Head faculty chooses a teacher to honor for their professionalism and commitment to our students. "Raised in Tennessee and married for over 30 years, my husband and I have four children between the ages of 23 and 31. After working as a Parent Teacher Advisor with Tennessee Early Intervention System, an Audiologist / Speech Pathologist, an ENT Nurse with Dr. Patterson, and a Pediatric nurse with Dr. Chazen, I finally found my true calling right here at Head Middle Magnet School where I have been teaching 5th grade for the past 13 years."
