SCIENCE CLUB INDUCTION CEREMONY
On Tuesday, October 27th, 2009, about 60 students were in inducted into the Science Club. Following a wonderful dinner supplied by Fisk University, Mr. Kent Wallace, the Rocket Team advisor from Fisk, presented a slide show that stressed the importance of education in obtaining success in life. Following him, Dr. Bullock introduced Dr. Carlton Burford, the retired Manufacturing Engineering Manager from the Saturn Corporation. Again, the importance of education was stressed to the students. W. Eugene Collins, Director of the Natural Science & Mathematics Division of Fisk University, Dr. Carr, Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Cancasci, and Mrs. Hawkins presented students with their certificates and Science Club T-shirts.
