Mrs. Wood teaches 6th grade science and social studies. She has been
teaching at Head for 18 years. Prior to teaching,she was a dental hygienist
for 10 years. She received her B.A. degree from Fisk University in biology,
A.A. degree in dental hygiene from Meharry Medical College and Tennessee State University,and M.Ed.in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University.
Mrs. Wood is a highly qualified teacher.
