5th Grade Supply List

REQUIRED by ALL Teachers:

• Students should have access to a dictionary and thesaurus at home.
• Belt- To be left in locker
• Agenda (Purchased at Head $5.00)
• Lock (Purchased at Head $5.00)
• Students will be expected to buy supplemental workbooks through the school. You will be informed about the books and the prices.
• 3-Ring Zippered Binder with Subject Dividers
• Calculator- NO graphing calculators

The following supplies should be left at the school for use during the year:

• 50, # 2 Pencils and Paper (wide rule)-Please note that students who come to class without these items are considered unprepared for class.
• Tissues- 4 boxes, 200 count, Paper Towels-2 rolls
• Hand Sanitizer/soap and disinfecting wipes
• Colored pencils and/or crayons
• Blunt or round tipped scissors
• Glue
• Dry erase markers
• Five 3 prong pocket folders,1 each in orange, green, yellow, blue, red
• Three spiral notebooks
• Pencil sharpeners with shaving catcher
• Construction paper
• Tape-masking and clear
• Cap erasers

NOT REQUIRED by ALL Teachers:

• Tennis Balls (4)
• Black/Blue non-erasable pens
• Two composition books for Math logs
• Wooden or rubber ruler with centimeters and inches, with holes to be left in binder

Required for all students:

• 6 different colored folders with prongs and pockets (one for each subject – NO binders)
• 1 folder with pockets ONLY (for use as a homework folder)
• 1 package of black or blue pens (erasable pens)
• 1 package of red pens
• 1 package of reinforcers
• #2 pencils (enough for the year)
• Loose-leaf notebook paper (enough for the year)
• 1 box of colored pencils
• 1 small pencil sharpener with a container for shavings (not motorized)
• 1 ruler (with inches and centimeters) with holes to attach into a binder - wooden or plastic
• 1 jump/flash drive
• Lock for Locker ($5.00 sold at Head)

The following supplies are REQUIRED to be left in each homeroom class:

• 2 – 24 pack of pencils
• 4 boxes of tissue (Kleenex)
• 2 packages of notebook paper
• 2 Black and White Composition Books (Science Teachers) – NO spirals
• 1 single subject Spiral notebook (Language Arts Teachers) – NO composition books
